uniforms

In 2020, we introduced a new College uniform. The new uniform provides students with the opportunity to express themselves with the variety of options now made available. There will be a three-year phase in period, with the new uniform compulsory from 2023.
  • Information on Wearing the College Uniform

Uniforms can be purchased at Total Uniforms which is open Monday to Saturday, 2 Jensen St, Geraldton.

The College Second-Hand Uniform shop is located at St Vincent de Paul on Durlacher Street, Geraldton. Due to the number of items being sold through social media, there has been a reduced demand or usage of the College Second-Hand Uniform Shop.
UNIFORM FAQS
Why is there a new uniform?
A survey was conducted at the start of 2019 asking our students, their families, and staff to share their thoughts on how the uniform could be improved to encourage school pride, reflect inclusivity, provide choice and fit with the local climate. Following the feedback gathered in the survey the College conducted a full review of the uniform taking into account all of the feedback received. As a result, a design brief was developed and the College worked closely with our uniform supplier to design a new uniform range. These designs were shared with our Nagle community and the advice received helped guide the College in making the final decisions with regard to the uniform.
is there a summer and winter uniform?
No. We will now have one single uniform which can be worn throughout the year with options to suit variations of climate and student preference.
how will the new uniforms be phased in?
There will be a three-year transition period in which students can wear either the existing uniform, the new uniform or a combination.

From 2023, the new uniform will be compulsory.
I have a child at Nagle already. how will this affect me?
Students finishing their studies before 2023 do not need to purchase the new uniform. During the phase in period, students are able to combine items from the existing uniform and the new uniform. The transition period enables a timely replacement of individual items in response to growth and normal usage.
i am new to nagle. how will this impact me?
Families new to Nagle will have the option to purchase the new Nagle uniform or wear the existing uniform which may have been passed down.
can students mix and match pieces from the old and new uniforms?
During the three-year transition period, students may mix and match between the existing and new uniform.
what happens to the old uniform after 2022?
We are currently organsing for the 'old' uniform items to be donated to a school in need overseas. Families will be notified of when the College collection days will be. The College will not be accepting uniform donations outside of the designated collection days.
Has the college considered the cost impact to families?
Yes, this has been at the forefront of the development of the new uniform. A three-year transition period between 2020, when the uniform is launched, and 2023, when the new uniform will be compulsory, will enable families to plan and prepare.

In the long run, the cost to families will be less, with students being able to wear one single uniform all year-round, and the choice of add-ons depending on the climate and student preferences.
won't it look messy while the college transitions from one uniform to the other?
Yes! However, we felt that that it was important to give families sufficient time to make the change across to the new uniform. The transition phase will be a memorable time in the College's history.
what about school photos?
Class and group photos are a historical record. For the next three years, they will accurately record that the College was in a transition period to a new uniform. When students look back at their photos in years to come they will enjoy remembering this significant event in their school's history. Individual photos will continue to be a beautiful record of each student, no matter which uniform they are wearing.
